Homemade raspberry jam


Homemade raspberry jam served with pancakes

Ingredients:
250 g frozen raspberries
250 g sugar
1/2 cup water

You may cut down a bit on the sugar content if you are using fresh raspberries due to a higher level of pectin which is a natural setting agent. You might be able to find pure pectin if you are lucky, if that's the case you may cut down the sugar content even more, but it's by no means necessary.

Methode:
Bring all the ingredients to a slow boil, remember to stir once in a while. When the mixture starts to bobble and the bobbles stays on top the jam is ready. Test the consistency of the jam by putting a small amount on a cold plate, if it's to runny then cook it a bit longer.
